About the book
Since the beginning of 2007, Karlyn De Jongh has gathered questions addressed to On Kawara by people who are deeply familiar with the artist or his work. This resulted in a collection of 79 questions from individuals around the world. After several attempts to present these questions to On Kawara � trying to meet him in New York, sending him postcards with the questions, and contacting some of his close friends � up to the day of this publication, the questions remain unanswered.
